Best Buy and Amazon Put Their Rivalry Aside Again to Promote More TVs

Amazon.com (amzn) has lined up a significant partner to help it market televisions that operate on its Fire TV functioning system: one-time sour rival Best Purchase (bby).

The movement ahead the partnership between the companies, which involves spaces inside Best Purchase’s huge fleet of shops to showcase smart home items created by Amazon. The two companies said on Wednesday they will sell 11 versions as of this summer, including TVs from Toshiba and Best Purchase’s own Insignia brand. And Best Buy, which works 1,o00 shops, will showcase TVs operating on the Fire system at those places and on its own site. Best Buy will eventually become a seller on Amazon.com at which it will be the exclusive vendor of these places.
