Since the markets creep higher, a few stocks have blazed past the remainder to score large gains for the entire year.

A couple of shares, such as Netflix, TripAdvisor and Chipotle, currently trade at least 20 percent above their 200-day moving average. But a few are deserving of their parabolic rise, according to Miller Tabak equity strategist Matt Maley.
