Netflix, Amazon Prime and others overtake pay TV subscribers in the United Kingdom for the Very First Time

Streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime have jeopardized pay TV subscriptions at the U.K. for the first time, signaling a major change in viewing habits.

The three most popular online streaming solutions, Netflix, Amazon Prime and TV, had 15.4 million U.K. subscribers for its first quarter of 2018, whereas there have been 15.1 million subscribers to services such as Sky, Virgin Media and BT.
